Out of the Loop is AEMMP Records' first release from its new Online Distribution section, showcasing music from each of the artists the students in the class are working with. The compilation features a variety of styles ranging from indie pop and folk rock to hip-hop and ambient electronica.

This marks AEMMP's 4th compilation release in three years, with two more to come from the Rock and Hip Hop sections in the near future.
